Cold Rainy Thursday Night at John Randall

Cold Rainy Thursday Night at John Randall

5.6 John Randall

But can they do it on a cold rainy Thursday night at John Randall? Yes they can.

Well done to the Year 5/6 football team that tonight won their league match 8-1 against John Randall Primary School. The grass was extremely long and difficult to play on and despite the boys coming in 4-1 up at half time, they knew they hadn’t played to their usual style and standard. We put this down to the Christmas break 🙂 The freezing coldm weather didn’t help either.

In the second half we were like a different team and back to our usual high standard of play and on the odd occasion John Randall attacked on the break, our defence and goalkepeeper were solid. The boys have one tough league match left for the season and a cup semi final to look forward to. Good luck boys #TeamGP

4.5 County Cup

Well done to the Year 4/5 football team that tonight qualified to the next stages of the Shropshire County Cup, winning 2 matches and drawing the other. One thing that really stood out from our performance was, not only do our boys have great footballing ability, they have the competitiveness and work ethic that is second to none. They couldn’t of given any more and it shows in their fantastic results winning 2-1, 3-0 and drawing 0-0. Good luck in the next round boys #TeamGP
