Well done to our Year 5/6 football team that have qualified to the quarter finals of the Telford & Wrekin cup after winning 3-1 against Sir Alexander Fleming this morning. It was a great end to end game and could of gone either way. Thank you Sir Alexander Fleming for your excellent hospitality #TeamGP
Well done to our Year 3/4 girls football team that played Priorslee Academy tonight. As you can see from the photo it was a very muddy game but our girls absolutely loved it. Well done Priorslee for winning the match 3-1 #WeGoAgain #NeverGiveUp #TeamGP
Amazing performance from our Gymnastics team in the beginners category of the Telford & Wrekin competition today. To top it off, the girls finished 3rd out of 17 teams and picked up bronze medals. Thank you so much Gymfinity Gym LTD for training the girls for this event #TeamGP #Proud
We are currently raising funds to have a track installed around the outside of our school field so that the children can take part in the Daily Mile and get at least 15 minutes of planned exercise every day.
We have applied for grants to have the track installed and last week we found out we have been successful in one of our bids to be part of the ‘Tesco Bags of Help Scheme’. From the 1st January to 28th February, customers of Tesco stores in our region canvote between our project and 2 others each time they shop.
The winning project will receive £4,000, second place will receive £2,000 and third place will receive £1,000.
Stores in our Region are:
BRIDGNORTH TELFRD EXP WV16 4DX
HAYGATE RD TELFRD EXP TF1 1QA
HERMITAGE EXPRESS WV15 5AP
Madeley TF7 5AB
Telford TF1 2DE
TELFORD HADLY CTR EXP TF1 5NF
The Daily Mile website states that children taking part in the Daily Mile become much fitter within just 4 weeks. The Daily Mile is very helpful in reducing childhood inactivity and obesity and children bring the benefits home, often eating and sleeping better and encouraging their families to be active together. The 15 minute break from lessons is invigorating and leaves children more focused and ready to learn. The time spent outside, in almost all weathers, helps children become better engaged with the outdoors and aware of nature and the seasons.

Another Thursday night match under the Grange Park 3G Floodlights! Thank you to Redhill Primary School for another great Year 3/4 football match. Currently arranging girls fixtures with Redhill for December now #AllWeather #DarkWontStopUsNow #TeamGP
Outstanding performance by our Year 3/4 boys football team at tonight’s Shropshire County Cup. The boys won 2 and drew their last match to sail through to the next round #TeamGP #BrightFuture #TeamWork
What a performance by our Year 3 New Age Kurling team at the KS2 Telford & Wrekin tournament this afternoon. The team finished top of their group after winning all 3 of their group games and then went on to narrowly win the quarter final 2-1. The team then faced John Randall in the semi-final and after 3 ends, the game finished as a draw 2-2. This meant it went to a golden end and unfortunately the team narrowly lost. We couldn’t be any prouder of the Year 3 children that played, especially considering they mostly played against Year 6 children this afternoon.
What a week for extra Curricular Sport at Grange Park. Over 100 children have represented a sports team this week and next week looks just as busy. Thanks @TWSSP @SSCFA2 @CricketShrops and Sandra Davis for running all the comps 💪⚽🏏🏐🎯🏀 #TeamGP
Well done to our Year 4 Kwik Cricket team that finished 3rd at this mornings Telford & Wrekin Sports Partnership and Shropshire Cricket Tournament. The team were fantastic all morning and only missed out on a place in the final by 7 runs #TeamGP #PrideInTheBadge
