Chloé has been competing in kickboxing for just over a year. During this time she has had great success; earning a number of medals/trophies; 11 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze. These medals have been from both national tournaments and international tournaments, to include: Ireland and Athens. Her most recent medals from the WAKO GB tournament also resulted in her being invited to train with the GB Squad. Chloé is hoping to continue her success this weekend when she travels to Dublin to compete in the most prestigious kickboxing event in the world. This international event has an amazing 3750 fighters attending from over 40 countries.
We would like to wish Chloé good luck and we look forward to hearing about her experience upon her return next week.

We are delighted to announce that Grange Park Primary School has been selected by the Executive Committee of the Shropshire Schools’ Sports & Athletics Association to receive the Derek Hayward Award as the most successful Shropshire Primary School Sports Team.
Every year the SSSAA recognises the significant achievement of young people participating in sport at the annual awards evening held at the Shirehall. In addition to individual awards, there are a number of other presentations including awards to the most successful Shropshire Primary and Secondary Teams. This is a very popular event and is recognition of the tremendous work and commitment of the young people but also the teachers, coaches and parents.
We will pick up our award at the International Evening on Tuesday 26th February.
Thank you to all the children that have represented the school sports teams over the years and to the parents for their fantastic support. The children give their all at every event and whether we win, lose or draw, their behaviour and attitude towards sport is amazing.
Amazing performance by our Year 5/6 boys football team to reach the semi-final of the WWFC FoundationTournament today. The boys were extremely unlucky to at least not get a draw the semi-final, losing 1-0 and hitting the post and bar numerous times.
More importantly though, our boys showed great character to put yesterdays 6-1 defeat to Old Park Primary in the T&W Cup behind them to beat them 1-0 in the quarter finals today. Just shows our boys fantastic never give up attitude and team spirit.
Well done #TeamGP
Well done to our Year 3/4 Tag Rugby Team that took part in the Telford Park Tag Rugby competition this afternoon. The children had a fantastic time and improved every match.
Unfortunately our Year 5/6 boys football team lost tonight in the quarter final of the Telford & Wrekin cup tonight. Win, Lose or Draw, we blog at Grange Park because be believe that celebrating participation is as important as celebrating success. Good luck in the next round Old Park Primary.
